Our commitment to providing stable, high-quality housing is rooted in personal history. Our grandparents were moved from what was then a slum in Battersea — hard to believe now! — to one of the first council houses in Hemel Hempstead. Our mum was just a baby. That opportunity changed their lives — our grandfather later became the town’s first Mayor.
